You normally start with two 1s, and then add the last two numbers, and bet that amount.

So if your previous bet was 8, and lost, you would add the 5 + 8 = 13, and bet 13 units on the next bet. Using this sequence as a roulette strategy when you win on an even money bet, then you are guaranteed to make a profit.

The D’Alembert System

The D’Alembert System is a progressive roulette strategy just like the Martingale and Fibonacci Systems. You bet on even money bets again for this system, however, the bets only increase by 1 unit at a time.

For example, lets assume you are betting £1, if this loses, then bet £2, then again, if this loses bet £3, and again, if this loses bet £4. Lets say the bet of £4 then wins, you then reduce the bet size by 1 unit to £3 and carry on with this method.

The D’Alembert System really works well when you have a winning streak, and drastically reduces the increments of the bet sizes compared to both the Martingale and Fibonacci Systems.
